Dare to bare! Amy Schumer has sparked a viral movement with her latest parody Girl, You Don’t Need Makeup. The comedienne’s One Direction spoof — which features a boy band urging Schumer to ditch her makeup — aired during Inside Amy Schumer on Tuesday, April 28, and by Wednesday, Twitter was bombarded with fans sharing their makeup-free snaps with the hashtag #GirlYouDontNeedMakeup.

The faux boy band in the sketch tell a dolled-up Schumer, 33, she doesn’t need makeup because she’s “got that inner natural glow.” But as soon as she washes off her face, the boys say they can’t go out with a “ghost” and that she needs to put “natural-looking makeup” back on.

“Girl, I want to get real with you…I regret telling you not to wear makeup…it’s like I tore up a shag carpet assuming there was hardwood floor underneath…” one boy tells a confused Schumer.

After her Comedy Central episode aired, the comedienne then asked followers to tweet at her their “#girlyoudontneedmakeup pics.”

“I have been brought to tears with all the strong, badass, incredible women tonight. In jungles, jumping out of planes, holding their babies and mothers hands. All the strong lovely men who tweeted too We are all different and beautiful. Let’s waste no time stressin bout looks,” Schumer tweeted. “We are sisters and fighters and laughers and happy strong women. Smile at yourself in the mirror girl. #girlyoudontneedmakeup much love!”
